Frontline Stores – which includes the Sportfirst and Blue Sky Outdoor Experts retail brands – has parted company with its chief executive of nine years, Michael Penman.
A statement by the company’s board of directors, signed by chairman Peter Dalla, says the tenure ended “by mutual agreement”, with Penman leaving to pursue other opportunities.
While an executive search for a new chief executive takes place, the company management will be performed by general manager finance Len Nibaldi and general manager marketing and merchandise Terry Dopper.
In its statement, the board thanks Penman for his leadership of the 800-store retail group during his appointment, and wishes him success in the future. |
